Dharmendra Pradhan on NEET: There is confusion among students across the country regarding the NEET exam. After the allegations of NEET paper leak, students have approached the Supreme Court. The court has made it clear that it is not going to cancel the paper. Meanwhile, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has said that the NEET counseling process is about to begin. Children need to move forward without getting confused. He said that the government will not allow any student’s career to be tampered with.
In fact, ever since the results of the NEET exam have been released, a controversy has arisen over it. Many children from the same center have the same marks, while in some cases many students from the same center have become toppers. This is the reason why there are allegations of rigging in the NEET paper. Students are protesting against it across the country. The matter was also heard in the Supreme Court on Friday (14 June), where the court has issued a notice to the National Testing Agency (NTA) and sought a reply.

No one’s career will be tampered with: Dharmendra Pradhan
The education minister said in a post on the social media platform X, “The central government is committed to ensuring the interests of the candidates as per the Supreme Court order in the NEET exam case. I want to assure the candidates that no child’s career will be tampered with.”

Dharmendra Pradhan further said, “The facts related to this matter are in the knowledge of the Hon’ble Supreme Court. Whatever necessary steps are to be taken as per the instructions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, the government will complete them. The counseling process of NEET is about to start and now there is a need to move forward in this direction without getting confused.”
SC notice to NTA and government on CBI investigation
At the same time, the Supreme Court heard the petition requesting a CBI inquiry into the NEET paper leak on Friday. During this, the court has issued a notice to the Central Government and NTA and sought a reply. The court has also sought a reply from the Bihar government. A bench of Justice Vikram Nath and Justice Sandeep Mehta said that the PIL will be heard on July 8 along with other pending petitions regarding NEET.
